Worst ranking system in any game that has every existed.
If i have to compare this to counterstrike it's like matching silvers with globals. What a joke. Incoming cucks defending this game no matter what I say because they're cirklejerking this forum 24/7 sitting in their mom's basement while severely touching themselves.

I hate all ranked systems which are determined purely on win/loss. In theory, it sounds good, simple system, but it eliminates all possibility of single player to affect his rank outcome, especially if player cannot carry alone all the time.

Before anyone says that "then you don't deserve rank-up if you can't win 1v5(your own team and enemy combined)", you need consider that not every player is significally better than average of his team. There's no way for player who is just slighty better than rest of players to win alone.

The thing why CS:GO matchmaking system is better, is that it values players' effort in assigning lost or won MMR/ELO etc. If you lose game at score of 16-14, the impact for player rank is far lower than direct, cruel win/loss only system. Players have always possbility to affect games ELO/MMR outcome, regardless if they win or lose.

In rocket league, they could simply make system value goal difference and scores between players. This could make it less frustating for everyone, since you can actually affect for how game ranks you.

I personally won't touch ranked on any game where its pure win/loss system. Its not fun, and if I know game is lost, its not worth it to even try after that point since loss is always same, regardless how you do.

>7.1 h on record. In FPS you may have a (debatable) point, but in Rl, like in footbal, for example, the one with the most goals is not necessarily the best player. Midfielders are important too and don't get goals or saves, to give you a simple example.

The entire premise for your argument is ridiculous and demonstrates a lack of understanding.

If you have a net positive impact on your team you will win more over the long term. It's as simple as that. Stop blaming your team mates for your inability to rank. It's not them, it's you.

Id say its easier to carry a team in RL than it is in CSGO. In RL ranked games its 1-3 players on each team and you can contribute so much at all times like setting up passes or blocking shots and then making a goal. In CSGO you can be a pro player and still lose because your damn team cant hold a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ site and you cant be at two places at once. And when your terrorist they just go complete derp and its a 1v5.

Basically what im saying is that its easier to sway the outcome of a RL match on your own than a CSGO match. Therefore the ranking system being purely W/L isnt that bad for RL but it would be trash in CSGO.

All of this is coming from a Global Elite in CSGO and a Champion in RL. Im definetly more quallified to asses then ranking systems in both gamese compared to any of you.

Ive smurfed in CSGO at the MG rank. I got 40 kills 10 mvps and we lost. In RL if i smurf at any rank below shooting star its an automatic guranteed win no matter what. There's the difference.

Using CS as an example of anything lessens your argument to the rant of someone losing a game.

It doesn't lessen anything since you can use a base system that actually works.

You are comparing a shooter with soccer and suggesting they should share ranking metrics?
LOL

Because how someone plays can't be measured in any way? Can't you see further then the length of your nose?

My opinion is still same. I hate all ranked systems where player can't affect outcome of loss results.

They already do.
Your way is not an improvement over what already exists.

I wonder how counter strike's matchmaking would be for the first few weeks after everyone's rating would be reset :>
bondKI 2016 年 7 月 6 日 上午 4:35
After reading the OP I have this strange feeling that someone's butthurt after he lost a game.
