Neo Tokyo is not going to be removed from competitive, no matter how much you whine and complain about it. Also, don't forget that most of the other Rocket Labs maps are also going to be introduced to the regular gamemodes, both unranked and ranked. So unless you're here to copy and paste your complaints about new maps over and over again, just stop.

http://psyonix.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=32 I really don't think complaining on steam will do anything. I did just play it in 2v2. Wasn't that bad,

just takes getting used to, but neo tokyo's walls seem a bit ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up when it comes to hitting the balls into them, seems to bounce randomly, and also the net's wall is kinda badly angled towards the net, makes easy aerial shots haha

Totally agree, please remove. Maybe put it in rocket labs, but the ledges and the gravity keep messing everyone up!

It came from Rocket Labs, it's not going back in there. Quite the contrary: more Rocket Labs maps will be added to the standard rotation in due time.

Rocket Labs maps will lead to the decline of this game. When something is awesome you should celebrate and revel in its awesomenesst, not change it until it is no longer awesome.
John Hadley Jul 6, 2016 @ 8:52pm
I like change plenty. If something sucks then I'm all for change. When I'm enjoying something, I don't want to change it. I want to continue to enjoy it. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

And when the next map is released people will be like "I love Wasteland and Neo Tokyo, but not this!"

It never ends.
Wasteland sucks too, I don't see your point.... Adding more junk maps is somehow going to make us all like the previous ones that shouldn't be in competitive?

"Oh no, this map has a slight slope. It sucks!"
You still did not prove your point. Just because a new map comes out, does not mean that people are going to start liking the old one they previously did not like.

Agreed--- changes the overall 'feel' of the game when you play Wasteland (bigger, with curves) and Neo Tokyo (wtfrocketlabsexperiment).

When you put in hours and hours, and have to change your fine-tuned gameplay because some off-beaten (albeit, nice enough for other modes) map comes along.

There is a reason why all previous maps were of the same size and proportion. The introduction of these two maps throws everything off kilter. Period. End of discussion. I'm right, you're wrong.

Like the maps all you want, or dislike them-- but they do not belong in competitive.

How about we add some slopes to a football field in the NFL or to a basketball court in NBA? That would never stand. Think about it.

Wasteland is a far worse map than Neo Tokyo.

No, because every arena that isn't your perceived "standard" map is automatically bad. If all arenas had been like Neo Tokyo from the start, you'd be whining if they added an arena like coliseum later on.
Still did not prove your point.

Yup. People can still play them, and should be able to, but the field should be consistent. The pro sports comparison is right on. How about a 400 yard football field when all the rest are 100 yards?

What about all the other sports with different types and sizes of fields?
And are you talking about Handegg or actual football?

'Wasteland sucks' threads have dropped from view.
You need more proof?
