Normals MMR/ELO COMPLETELY RESET

Hello,

I am a very experienced Rocket League player who has over 400 hours into the game (432 to be exact but who is counting...) I am a person who just doesn't enjoy ranked matches so I have been playing basically normal 2s since I bought the game, but I REALLY enjoy playing at a higher skill level than most people...

With this new update my NORMAL 2s ELO/MMR has randomly plummeted to where I am playing with semi-pros to veterens EVERY GAME. I am a expert player two levels from MASTER. I used to be playing with other people of my skill level and sometimes better which I really enjoyed (from veteren to legend and occasionally rocketeer), because I think I play this game at a decently high level. So far I have played 4 or 5 games and the players have been extremely worse than those who I played with just TWO days ago.

What Happened... NORMALS ELO/MMR should NOT change and reset like RANKED. I don't really mind crushing noobs to get back to where I was in ELO/MMR but honestly it's kind of infuriating to think 400+ hours of work towards playing with high level players (in NORMAL MODE) has been ERASED.

I would love comments and help if possible...

here you go, a sentence from the patch notes: Competitive Season 3 has begun! All competitive skill ratings have been reset.

Yes, even casual has been reset.
You'll be facing pro teams doing their 10 casual matches until they can play ranked again.

Why would they reset skill ratings in normal mode? Seasons are for ranked... I really hate this and makes me not even want to play. I love having a teamate that is competent. Sometimes I find winning against people of much lower skill than me to be harder than winning against people of higher... Sounds like whining, it is whining, whining because i put 400+ hours to get to play against and with people of high skill... AHHHHHH

You can actually track your unranked MMR here:

Get it up to above 700-800 and you'll be with your old group again.
It really doesn't take that long (as you can see by your score already).

Thanks for you help fractal! I was a bit worked up but I'm feeling better now (made a White Russian) haha... Time to get back to the grind I suppose.
