Steam Controller Issues, some buttons not working.

I have been playing Rocket League with my Steam Controller successfully since last October. Just yesterday though, I noticed that I couldn't bring the score board up, and then I couldn't bring up the pause menu. Turns out, I cannot use Start, Select, Left Bumper, Right Bumper, Back Left button, and back right button. This makes is rather difficult to play, considering I have become reliant on the back buttons.

Rocket League is the only game I have this issue. I tried restarting, reinstalling, and plugging the controller in directly. Please help if you have any ideas.

RESOLVED I reset the controller configuration and it has fixed the issue, back to working properly. Thank you =D

I too just noticed a change since the last update. I was using the Waxcheeks setup and have lost use of multiple buttons (left bumper, left under button) and I selected the Official Psyonix setup, then went back to the Waxcheeks and still can't get the controls working the way they were prior to the update. The buttons work in other modes (Bid Picture), so I know they are registering, and rebinding them has not worked.

Any ideas?

I have been having the exact same issue just as of yesterday as well, and you're right, solved by resetting (re-importing) the controller configuration. Thanks for figuring that one out!

Notes in response to other comments:
- Already on Steam Beta
- Yes custom profile, but hasn't been changed recently. Tried changing it and did not solve problem.
- I actually didn't check if validating cache fixed it because I found this thread while it was still validating, so I can't personally say that didn't solve it.
