That's just confusing and useless, the flipping should be toward the ball, when you flip forward while using cam ball.
take it off ball cam then?
When the car is facing towards the camera, the left and right controls are reversed. It's like driving a car in real life in reverse. When you push left, the car will appear to drive to your right and vise versa. If you're really having trouble distinguishing left from right, put an asymmetrical design on your car e.g Tech for Octane or put a flag on your car. So now, flipping left will always flip the side the flag is on for example if you choose that. It's just learning mechanical skills.
Its all about muscle memory.
It's not even an issue to begin with it's just being more aware of what your car is doing. I've gotten used to flipping the right way regardless of whether car is facing towards or away from the camera regardless. It's not an issue and changing it would just make it worse and make flipping inconsistent.
What you're suggesting is that regardless of which way you're facing your car should flip in the direction you see it relative to the camera. So you could be driving one way and your car should immediately correct for your mistake by flipping in the direction you're thinking about? That makes zero sense. The game would be really messed up if the controls were always compensating for the camera.
Having controls compensate for the camera angle works perfectly fine for a 3rd person type adventure game like Dark Souls, but it doesn't work in this game because you're controlling a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ box on wheels. Those two characters don't move the same way.
I will train it, but after hundred of hours, it's really hard to master new techniques.
