Accelerate Problem (R2)

This happens only in Rocket League (I tested it in other games) but for whatever reason the r2 on my controller needs to be pressed really hard in order for my car to go forward. Sometimes I'd be holding the drive forward button and it would stop working for a second until I pressed it again. This is a Rocket League only issue and I already tried re-installing my drivers. Any ideas? This is really pissing me off and it's making me not want to play competitive because I look so stupid when I stop moving in front of the goal when I need to save the ball ect.

PS controller? Or do you have a cheap discount controller?
Do you use any 3rd party program fto map your controller, like xpadder/joy2key etc.?

could be a faulty controller that my thought

try to buy a new one and test it out see if anything changes , but you don't have to , i normally use a keybored and a mouse that all i my self don't like mixing games with controllers unless it needed , but rocket league is good with a keybored and a mouse 100 % works very well
