PS4 Controller to Windows 10 Wireless
What's up everyone. I'm currently using a ps4 controller using the standard charge/usb cable. The cable is starting to get a bit loose so the controller disconnects pretty easily. Therefore I want to connect the controller wirelessly. I've got w10 and bluetooth in my computer and I've tried connecting with it using DS4 but it doesn't work. Would appreciate some help or advice on any other ways to connect it. Does it work to simply buy a bluetooth dongle and connect it?

1. Sony released an official USB hub that lets you connect the controller to your pc via a wireless connection
2. if u dont want to spend money, there is an application called DS4 Windows that lets you connect your controller but i guess you'll need a bluetooth connection
3. get a new wire and suffer like everyone else that go cheap and go pro (f2p rules XD)

It should detect your controller without any additional hardware.
Try Settings>Devices>Connected Devices>Add a device

Ya it does detect your controller if you use a cable installing the standard drivers, but I want to play wireless

Ok, thank you for the help! But is that USB hub confirmed working for rocket league and other steam games etc? I heard it doesn't work for alot of games atm.

It searches for BT/Wireless devices here. Does your BT have a control panel?

Just have it unplugged or it won't search for it via BT :P

Ya I have tried connecting via bluetooth and it does detect the controller and I can connect it but it doesn't work cuz u need a program like inputmapper or ds4 to support it. You can't just connect to bluetooth and it works, I dont think at least. That's why i've looked up tutorials on youtube where you use ds4 etc. But I still can't get it to work

Are you pairing it? Holding PS+Share button together?
You pair it first and then run http://ds4windows.com/

Yup, I've followed that ds4 guide and it still doesn't work. I get the controller connected, ds4 detects it, the controller is having blue light, then I start rocket league --> not connected anymore..

Uninstall the original USB driver. It's probably detecting it as a second controller.

Ok, so Settings > Device Manager > Bluetooth and uninstall "Wireless Controller" drivers?
Original USB driver.
Not BT/Wireless
It's under Device Manager>Human Interface Devices (HID).

Oh ok, now the question is which one it is.
