Try clearing and reassigning the keybinds for brake and powerslide, including the alternate keybinds.
Hrmm... Did you try to update the driver yet?
Nope but will do = )
However, I did uninstall what drivers I had before, and then reconnected my xbox one controller.
It is a wireless controller. It is working perfectly fine with every other game I have.
I set the defaults for controls and sensitivities, and no luck with that either.
Before blaming the OS, keep in mind that the Xbox One controllers have received updates and enhancements to be more compatible with Windows 10 — not the other way around.
Follow the instructions here to update your controller for Windows 10.[support.xbox.com]
Note the fact that this must be done via USB.

Thank you! I will check tomorrow and post back results. Appreciate the help regardless!!
Windows 10 Anniversary Update actually broke xbox one gamepad on many games. A fix was pushed at the end of August for Preview Users and the rest of us got the update this week.
Check out their official controller support page and it should have instructions, it worked for me. Let me know!
