Crate Drop rate
In my opinion the Crate Drop rate is too low since you cant buy/sell them why dont just drop more? I played for about 6 hours now and i got only 2 crates. I bought 25 Keys and with that drop rate it might take a couple of days to use them all.

I'm in the same boat, 20 keys bought and got one crate in about 4 hours...

It's proportional. The base game without discounts and tons of free updates is already 20. 20 for 10 skins is an absolute steal.

Not hating. Each to their own. But buying 20 beforehand without even having the crates yet is worrying (and I knw/guess they are cheaper the more you buy)

I have the same issue! I didn't expect the crate to dissapear after getting one item! That's why I bought those keys, because I wanted everything in the crate! XD
Now I got 19 keys waiting to be used x)

I bought 20 because it's cheaper in the long run, plus I play this game enough that I know I'll get my moneys worth. Rocket League being so cheap along with free updates doesn't make spending the extra $20 for cosmetics so unsettling for me. Although I do wish the rate drops would be increased slightly.

Fair enough. And I wish you good luck with those drops!

I have a crate with the Dominus GT and I could consider buying a key if it was "Get the item you want from this random selection of items" but since it's not that way...

Do the crates only drop in competitive or in all the online modes? One site says competitive and one says online matches, can somebody confirm crates dropping in unranked? And I got really strange luck... there are numbers to the crates that determine the items in the crate. While playing 2v2 ranked, I got 2 "#2-crates" and while playing 1v1 ranked i got 1 "#1-crates"... is the number tied to the gamemode??

Doesnt matter i got a #1 crate and a #2 crate both from rumble.
