General Inquiry: Does playing Rocket League on a Steam Deck allow access to online play?

Does playing Rocket League on a Steam Deck allow access to online play? I've only been able to connect to bot matches so far. I attempted to join an online match in the past but it just waited on searching for a match for about 10-15 minutes and I gave up waiting.

Yeah - Plays no different than being on desktop with Windows.

There is a native Linux port that has been discontinued (SteamOS=Linux). This port is executable on the SteamDeck and may also be preselected, but it does you no good. Select Proton (SteamPlay), then everything works. Proton means you play the Windows version of the game. And yes it works very well if you have RL in your Steam library. If not, you have to tinker a bit.
