are you using the Microsoft OneDrive Cloud system?
it could automatically sync the steam and RL files, thus preventing the game from launching.
if the above doesnt work, we must also take into account that a damaged or corrupt file in the Documents folder can prevent Rocket League from launching.
As an official psyonix article recommends, here are the possible steps to solve the problem:
- Make sure Rocket League is closed and not running
- Click on the Folder Icon in the bottom-left corner of the screen
- This will open File Explorer
- Click on Documents in the left-hand column
- Double click on My Games
- Right-click on Rocket League
- Select Rename
- Type: Rocket League Old
- Press the Enter Key on your keyboard
- Try to launch the game again
also, could you share with me the game log files using pastebin.com ?
if you dont know how to gather logs, here are the steps:
- Click the Folder icon on the taskbar at the bottom of the screen
- This will open File Explorer
- Click on Documents in the left column
- Double click My Game in the center column
- Double click Rocket League
- Double click TAGame
- Double click on Logs
Device Name: USB Network Joystick
FF Driver: C:\Windows\USB Vibration\7906\EZFRD64.DLL
FF Driver Date: 12/10/2008 11:10:16
That thing made that ıssues. I removed that program and unplug that device . Everything is fine atm.
Issues related to controllers may have Faulting module name EZFRD64.dll - Was issue for one guy in topic here, he was just trying using unofficial controller and then used Xbox One instead of doing solution/workaround below.
EZFRD64.dll could be also fixed by following steps in link :
