Why am I getting paired with bad teammates constantly?

Every time i play an online ranked match, I'm teamed with the worst teammates imagianable, while the other team is either really good or is my skill level. I don't understand why I can never get paired with a good team. I went from a Gold III Division II to a Silver III Division III because of these terrible teammates.

On top of that, I keep getting paired with the same teammates over and over, increasing my chances of loosing. I can't play anymore, because every time I'm about to clear a ball or make a perfect shot, one of these teammates nudges me out of position and either misses the ball, or scores on our own goal.

So can anyone please explain to me why I can't seem to be paired with decent teammates? All responses are accepted, thank you.

Weekend is over, and i am Gold III Div IV now. I understand OP's point. It was horror and the lower it gets, the less fun it is becaus they play worser and worser.

A typical match ends 745/90/70 me 3 goals 3 saves, the opponent "MVP" 280 but they win because of 2 own goals my mates have shot.

Frustrating. I don't know if I can bear more of this.

A simple solution: get a team.

I would practice on getting better on defense. That way no matter what your teammate’s skill lvl is you are bound to score at least one goal while saving the shots at your goal. Once you get good at that climbing ranks would become very easy.

Thats not true...i bet if he gets a decent t8 he could rise to low mid platinum....the problem with all this randoms is that they are playin without brain..its all about positioning and knowin when you go for a 50/50....it drives me nuts if the opposite gets an goal without any challenge...for the op try to get a decent t8 or sooner or later you will quit playin...

I can actually completely understand OP's frustration. And to those who say "carry the team if you're so good", that is sometimes just not possible. I once joined a plat 3v3 tourney alone and got paired up with two randoms who joined together. We lost 3:5, and that is something I could accept. The problem was this: my stats were score 841 and 3/0/4/7. My mates: #1 score 136 and 0/0/1/1, mate #2 score 24 and 0/0/0/0. I am a diamond in 2v2s, and this is NOT something I could have carried, since all of the opponents were plat for sure (as opposed to my mates who were barely gold I would say), and all of them scored at least a goal and had at least a save. Stopped joining tourneys alone after this.

I sincerely believe the people who oppose OP are benefiting from the current f2p situation. either by getting carried from their friends or by acquiring boosting services.

with that said, yesterday I had something similar going on. my mate is S9 gc and he bumped ME out of net 3 times in a row, resulting in the opponents getting 3 free goals.

people forget that no matter how many goals you end up scoring, you can't compensate for the braindamage of your teammates when they refuse to work as a team. they never pass, they never score gold lvl shots, they can't defend, they keep passing the opponents, they intentionally cut you off, to go for a 50/50 which half of the times they lose and then blame their mates for not being good lol.

I have an easier time finding decent random teammates in league of legends than this pile of garbage. at this point this game is a meme

tbf it would work if it wasn't for the smurfs. it did at least before epic despite smurfs existing. if you were better in your current rank, you would attempt to reach higher rank, fall back to your rank, rinse and repeat.

Everybody blaming OP but I've experienced the same thing. Entire sessions it's nothing but people who seem to know nothing of the game, and somehow got to Diamond and drag me back down to Plat. Some of it is play style. I can get paired with people who rotate and "see" the field and read situations the same way I do, and we mesh well. Then you get people who run around with their head up their butt in ranked and I just put down the controller because they still won't ff when we're down by 7.

I have just played 5 games this morning before going to work and EVERY dam one of them I was paired with total muppets, WTF do people just hit the ball anywhere, these in-breds a lot of the time cannot even hit the ball, bump you, and god forbid you are better than them as then they start "playing" for the other team, stealing all the boosts etc, total joke of a game, and no point in reporting anyone as these little kiddies are the ones keeping this game alive by buying all the crud they there is to offer..!!! you know when your team mates are going to be turds is when you see they all have clown coloured cars and the totally ridiculous toppers..!!!!
