Why am I getting paired with bad teammates constantly?

Every time i play an online ranked match, I'm teamed with the worst teammates imagianable, while the other team is either really good or is my skill level. I don't understand why I can never get paired with a good team. I went from a Gold III Division II to a Silver III Division III because of these terrible teammates.

On top of that, I keep getting paired with the same teammates over and over, increasing my chances of loosing. I can't play anymore, because every time I'm about to clear a ball or make a perfect shot, one of these teammates nudges me out of position and either misses the ball, or scores on our own goal.

So can anyone please explain to me why I can't seem to be paired with decent teammates? All responses are accepted, thank you.

A solution would be to no longer play with randoms. If you are interested in joining a clan, I am in one and you can add me if you want to join. This way you would always find someone to play with.

solution is to observe your teammates and try to fill the gap they have in their gameplay... early game its usualy defense becose everyone ball chases

ok your great and everyone else is not up to your wonderful greatness.... although.. outside of your delusion..... is there a benefit to forfeiting a game or staying and losing.

If you really were that good you would be able to carry and move up consistently.

Mates ballchase? Suck it up and take on the defensive.

Mates don't rotate? Be the one who makes sure the goal is never left unguarded. The opponent can't win if they can't score.

Sure, you will lose some matches here and there, but you should observe an overrall rising pattern. Blaming teammates for being in the rank you are in is easy to do, and SOMETIMES justified, but if you are stuck for a long time in the same rank, it's on your part. It is easier on the ego to say that teammates are to blame for everything rather than admitting your own skill is still insufficient to be in the higher ranks, but you get my point.

the state of mind is also important
When you think your teammates sucks, you start to act stupid (trying to steal goals because you think "they'll miss again" or stuff like that)

Because you are not actually in the rank you belong to. What i mean is if you want to advance to say, Platinum rank, you have to be actually a Diamond. If you want to advance to Diamond, you have to be actually a Champion etc. You WILL have to be able to carry the team when playing with randoms. There is no other way. Playing this game with randoms is just asking for trouble.

To the OP defense, I know what he means, sometimes you are in a team where Teammates ballchase and shoot wherever they are, even if it means Super opponent pass, or even autogoal
Or those forfeit voting after 20sec 1-0 and if you dont vote, they simply stop playing/autogoal or simply quit (after telling you how you were worst team ever and need to uninstall)
And you end up beeing first of the team with 3 goals, 0 assist and 5 saves... but the others are so bad, you lose anyway... 15 times in a row

but these series always end, and after that you usually have to opposite: 15 wins in a row

all in all, you end up beeing in the correct rank

Edit: BTW OP, it's not "constantly" or you would never reach gold III first

Everyone that says 'oh because you suck' you're dense as f or just close minded because I've seen that ♥♥♥♥ playing back and your team can't make one shot, youre expected to carry on defence and offense? Sometimes the matchmaking DOES just suck, and that can't be helped I suppose as it's the nature of the game. Best you can do is try to play a bit differently and hope your teammates can adapt.

I joined this weekend random mates in standard, started the Platinum II Div IV and my target was finally breakthrough to Plat III.

Weekend is over, and i am Gold III Div IV now. I understand OP's point. It was horror and the lower it gets, the less fun it is becaus they play worser and worser.

A typical match ends 745/90/70 me 3 goals 3 saves, the opponent "MVP" 280 but they win because of 2 own goals my mates have shot.

Frustrating. I don't know if I can bear more of this.
