You went, you were supposed to get to know what you are buying, you bought it, end of story.
Are you writing complaint or anything similiar to - let's say - Lay's because their bags have codes for lottery which has ended?
See that's the problem. It was not "wysiwyg".
It said, possible "DLC Code included". It was never possible to get a "DLC Code included"
no it doesnt. it says "SELECT CARS CONTAIN exclusive DLC code".
i.e. not all cars, just certain ones. also "no purchase neccesary*" should make it really obvious that its a sweepstakes. there are laws that say you cant require a purchase for a sweepstakes (that would be gambling), so to get around it you can enter for free by mailing in, but you can also get an entry with the purchase. in this case, just "win" the code if you got a certain car (again not even all of them).
both the "select cars contain" and the "no purchase neccesary" are really easy to read.
sorry you just didnt read. anyways, who cares? if you bought it just for a code, just return it and get your money back.
Did you even read? I got a rare car and a "code" in the package, with a code which is non-redeemable.
