I got hacked/scammed. Stay away from Rocket League Trader$
I got scammed by this Group during their "Giveaways" on their website. At first i thought it was psyonix because of the compensation, but i realised it wasn't when i read a post and realised what I have done. Stay away from that group.

Your items were likely lost in a phishing scam, and the decrypters were an apology from Psyonix for server issues.

I found out what happened. A group called "Rocketleaguetraders" with 20k users scammed me, they're doing giveaways and they want you to login on a steam window. they stole the most expensive items.

What kind of Issue ?? I went in my garage and most of my items have been scammed or lost. All other items remaining are not tradeable, all of them.

All my rare Decals like Hexed and Tora and rocket trails too, all my rocket trails are gone, all the limited and rare rocket trails.... What happened ??????

and?

Really, you get scammed how? You use third party site to trade?

There you have it.

No blame to those groups. They are public groups made to get traders together.

You blame groups, where its your own fault for using third party services.

Read this: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=6748-ETSG-5417

This is the same concept as per Rocket league's trading system.

Dont use third party sites, double check your trades.

Then you do not get scammed.

Also learn to use steam guard!

Steam Guard only protects your Steam inventory. It won't protect your Rocket League items.

Doubly as such for their indispensably useful opinions.

Feeling better already.

Rocket league items are not saved in the Steam inventory. They dont need no code.

Does the steam guard not ask for a code when someone tries to login to your account? I don't understand how these scammers are getting into accounts with just the username and password. If it doesn't ask them for a code when they try to login, what's the point of it? Is it only client side, or are these victims just not using mobile auth?
Your code is active for about 1 minute after it cycles off your device. When you go to these sites, they get your username, password and your steam guard code. That’s all they need to get in, and you gave it to them. There is no other confirmation needed to trade RL items.
