I think this is extremely unfair for many players. It should be up to the game to figure this out instead of easily penalize players. One of the many reasons why there is so much toxicity up to Diamond rank.
Forgot to mention, the leaver will only get a small punishment and a 15-minute.
The current system is balanced. Leavers get a much heavier punishment now.
I mentioned this for games you do not party. Let's read next time:)
I heavily disagree. Getting regular mmr for a win where someone leaves in opposite team is normal. What happens in other team doesn't affect the opponent. Now you're telling me I'm being penalized for someone not completing the game and me losing because of that. There is no logic here.
Why 50 or 80. If someone leaves the game it's unfair for the teammates.
No, you're not being penalized because your teammate abandoned you. You can leave at anytime and counts as a normal loss. If you stayed and attempted to beat the other team, you'll get a lot of MMR points.
Winning team should get full mmr, leaver loses full mmr + penalty, losers with no teammate should not lose any..provided you are not in a party.
IF you win...which barely happens when 2v3. I dont recall losing to a 2 person team in the past 6 months. If I complete the game and lose I lose 9 solid mmr points. How about when it's 1v 3?
