Double Jump/Dodge System
This has to be the least intuitive and most infuriatingly twitchy movement system I've ever used in a video game.

Coming back to the game five years later to find it still un-intuitive and un-friendly to the user is just disappointing.

Can somebody explain how this is still in a broken state? Working goal and micromanaging position for ball movement still gives me that one-in-ten chance of my car freaking out and doing something completely unexpected.

I don't know what you talking about, the mechanic has ever worked well and if you don't master it, you have to git gud. You just have to look at esports matches.

A lot of moves need you to NOT BE TOUCHING THE JOYSTICK IN ANY WAY WHATSOVER. Otherwise you'll do a directional flip and not jump. It doesn't make a huge amount of sense but thats how the game works.
As for the double jump timer, I have over 1000h in this game and I still can't predict when it will expire.

Use a higher dodge deadzone. I'm currently at 1.00 (The highest it goes)
