Why do people spin so much when aerialing?????
Its makes the whole aerial SO much harder!!!! Why just don't fly straight??

Spinning your car gives it momentum and stops your car from bouncing harder off the ball when you hit it.

Can't you just spin before the hit to the ball if you don't need much momentum then? I see people spinning 24/7 while in air and wonder why cant they just fly straight xD, but ok

Do you have any proof that spinning your car gives momentum?

Spinning your car allows you to turn in the air quicker and if your car is rotating as it about to hit the ball You can hit it harder.

If you're about to hit the ball with the left side of your car. Air rolling left will cancel out much of the "bounce" when you hit the ball. Letting you go for an air dribble or flip reset. Since your car didn't bounce off it and aim in the wrong direction.

The proof is completely there at all times cause it's a physics based game.

If you mean, making the car go faster? No. Fastest way to travel up is by double jumping and tilting car upwards and boosting at the right moment. Rocket Science covers this in a video.

The way you worded the momentum part in your original post sounded as if you were saying it would make your car go faster which is why i questioned you. However your answer to spinning makes you spin faster i still find somewhat questionable, its not like the rl car will continue picking up speed in a spin non stop sure there is a certain small amount of momentum you will gain as it goes from 0 to full spin speed but how much do you really gain?

Isn't the Bounce you refer to more of a function of what surface you hit the ball with i.e. tire or hood rather than air rolling into or away from the ball, i mean yeah you will get a softer hit if you dodge slightly away from the ball as you hit it thus cancelling some of your momentum but the power off the hit i would think comes from the surface impact after you take into consideration the straight line speed you hit the ball with.

1. Spinning makes the shot harder but makes you look cooler.
2. Spinning results in softer touches on the ball, allowing better setups for air dribbles.

Do you guys have any advice, what is the BEST way to practise this spinning method for noob?

Go into freeplay and practice flying and air rolling so it becomes natural for you then its all about learning how to hit the ball while doing it.

i guess that makes sense, will try, hopefully my patience is big enough :p

theres no benefit on spinning

going straight to the ball or spinning before, making sure you hit the ball with the most front part of your car in both cases , has no difference, people do it because it just looks cool and most importantly to show off

spins = wins

You can take any of the answers above or you can take mine. I find myself spinning automatically (subconsciously) because of the way I train.

You train by spinning as much as possible for example holding air roll in rings maps. So you can train your brain to move in any direction at an instant, so you spin a lot in training aerial control. As a result you'll find yourself doing it automatically in game.

Because its cool idk lol and more aerial car control use a ring map dmc ring map 2 is good

When i try to go and do ring maps, i find myself always just being front up and boosting, if i try to spin i fall, i just tap boost and keep my car straight up, is it bad?
