Why toxic players and AFK are not banned?

I reserve 1 or 2 hours of my day to play Rocket League and there isn't a day that I don't find a toxic player who offends other players, making a goal against or becoming AFK on purpose, preferably Argentino who with 2min of game are already trolling and offending as in this print https://prnt.sc/1xdy91t .

I wonder if players really get banned, because someone with that mentality should receive a report every day, how can they be playing? I'm sure if I said something in Portuguese it would be called a monkey by the Argentines, 80% of the time this happens.

Maybe you guys should at the very least put a notification when a player you've reported has been banned, as I have 800 hours of gameplay and report toxic players every day and I've never received a notification about it.

I think you don't understand how frustrating it is to try to win a game and the troll player starts trolling with 1:30min of the game and not giving FF u worse yet... being called a monkey every time I speak in Portuguese.

Psyonix doesn't have the balls to permaban players. Every toxic player is a potential whale that spends money thats why. Its about priorities

The only bans in RL are automatic, based on text detection of keywords in chat, or leaving games. To my knowledge there are NO acutal bans that require a human employee to read your report or look at a replay.

I imagine that's how it is. The sad thing is that there doesn't seem to be a detection for racism in the Spanish or Portuguese language.

They would have to hire a Spanish language speaker for a day, to make a list of words. That's not in the budget. They have only made a few hundred million dollars from this game.

trolling has gone up 10X since the casual bans for leaving. if you want to have a fun time playing complain about that so you can leave toxic players and not have to endure that ♥♥♥♥

in my region the number of trolls decreased a lot but I really preferred the old way because you just left the game if there was any troll. Besides this is not the biggest problem, the biggest problem is the bans not working as they should, especially when it comes to racism.

All you have to do is turn off chat and you won't find any toxic players. It's not that hard. And to prevent having afk teamates, join a clan or have a group of players you can pick from to play with.

The bigger problem is toxic gameplay, like going AFK or scoring against their own team.

I solo queue casual while waiting for my son sometimes, and the majority of people are fine, but there's enough bad apples that it's definitely more problematic than "all you have to do".

There's no easy fix for the players without Psyonix stepping in to help ban the worst offenders.
