If you don't want to download the Epic Launcher and download the game.
Then Yes.
- download new content and patching from there
- Link to your Epic account rather than steam account for drops
Steam still holds certain content and access on file for legacy players (who purchased through the steam platform prior to the handover) but nothing but patching and game launching is really done through steam anymore for older players
If you don't want to download a free game that is incredibly fun just because you can't take screenshots thats kinda weird and it almost seems like you're just tryna bash epic...
On the other hand, buy a 70$ steam key and you're set!!
Also, xbox? Fr? Lmao
