No they don't, reasoning for that is because they don't know you, nor are you friends by any means, from the sounds of it y'all didn't have a fun time messing around during your one match together and didn't bond in any way, so it's toxic and not a joke.
>go into 3v3s with party up 2s and 1 random
>using what a save when the teammate didnt use what a save
>go afk in the match
>in c2 lobbies with a d3 player (120 mmr difference)
you are not the only person in the wrong
Everyone misses easy saves, no one is 100% perfect 100% of the time.
Occasional feed back is a good thing, however saying what a save to a missed save is not real feedback, you know it as well as everyone else, thats just a team mate being a jerk to another random team mate.
Trash talk as you put it is not and never has been always a part of competitive environments, it does seem that the anonymity of the internet has increased the volume of trash talk though.
I am in no way defending the reaction the random team mate had to the what a save, just pointing out that he would not have had that reaction if the person who hit him with the sarcastic what a save said no problem instead. Within RL i have noticed how much more people push themselves to do better when i tell them no problem when they make a mistake as opposed to when another teammate hits them with what a save, and i solo que alot.
People who throw a fit and then the game over a quick chat 3 worded phrase and scream "TOXIC!!" are honestly the most pathetic individuals in the game. They are hypocrites and often ones who can't take any form of criticism what so ever over their own poor play.
Their responses prove them to be far more "Toxic" than any "What a save!" can hope to be.
What you call "being a jerk" is simply you not being able to handle sarcastic remarks at your expense. EVERYONE gets teased in some way, shape, or form when in some form of competitive environment. Hell thats literally comedy in a nutshell, even worse is "what a save" isnt even insulting or derogatory. Fyi its not actually a good thing to be so reactionary to the point a 3 word sarcastic comment seems toxic or offends you.
"Trash talk as you put it is not and never has been always a part of competitive environments"??? Really...do you actually think this? You've clearly never been inside a locker room ever in your life, or played sports of any kinds outside with other guys. I genuinely dont understand how you could genuinely think trash talk, sarcasm, or any of the sort hasnt always been in sports because it has. (let alone gaming)
In 3s with two people queued together and me on their team, has been when I have met the most assinine toxic children, by far.
I can assume with a high level of certainty this is you and your friend, especially if this dude took a loss to not play with you...
