Why do people forfeit over 1 goal
Like really? We have 4 minutes to at least tie and you just give up on the game? If you are that tilted just close the game. I am sorry not everybody has light speed reaction time or pro player mechanical skills, but you just gotta deal with it sometimes.

Usually it's a joke or a "get your ♥♥♥♥ together" emote. Don't take it personally.

When you have enough hours to notice the typical mistakes or slow reaction time, you don't need 4 min to understand that it's useless to play with such teammates, there is no trust, no reliability, just doubts and by a very any chance, one of them will do a clever action...0,001% of time --> Going next is better than staying in net for 4 min and pray that you will be faster enough to play 1v3 or 1v2, because your mates are more obstacles than a real help in your team,

It's not a matter of technics, rotation, and so on, you just need a brain : shooting on a wall, making a nice pass to your opponnent instead of a straight shot away far from your goal, is very simple to understand, you just need your eyes, and your brain. That's the same for many other examples. Dribbling till the free opponent goal is foolish, you just need a proper shot, quicker, efficient and here you go, you don't need 45 seconds, to let the time to your opponents to move properly, to take the risk to lose the ball 2 sec after, just shoot, ensure to secure this, use your brain.

All is a matter of thoughts, acting at a proper time, you don't need rota ; dribbling ; technics, just a standard brain and the capability of using it.

Basically, it is a mind game to try to get your teammate to peak.

Some people FF early as a message for their teammates to wake up and play better. I have done it a few times, and that mind game works very well. The teammate either 1) ignores it, and the game goes on as before, or 2) the teammate gets offended and starts raging, and afking, or, 3) the best result, the teammate wakes up and proves his worth.

It is also considered Unsportsmanlike conduct. So I'd be careful using it.

Nobody has ever been banned for this.....

If my teammate votes to FF down 1 goal.. I won't ff but it won't help me play any better. I only vote to ff unless I actually want to ff.

because people don't like when games are hard.

Sarcasm? Or just trolling?

im just gona goof off, the game is beyond fixable- tired of idle players, ding dongs, forfeits at 1, lag, terrible matchmaking, a party of 3 with 2 tournament winners vs 3 randos yeah great matchmaking there this game has been rotting away in acoffin since 2018 slowly but the smell is getting worse

4) they accept the ff and you lost a game because you wanted to play mind games

The player has accepted it as a loss anyways.

This is probably the most hilariously stupid thing hint I've seen in rocket league forums xD

As if there were ever any bans in this game ever for anything other than LGBTQ language xD

Boy, some people really are clueless. Shouldn't give people false ideas and misrepresent the game....

Ah I messed up the quote text and I'm too lazy to fix it on mobile.

Come on, use your brain, "ff-ing" when you're down by 1 or even 2 goals is hillarious and it's unsportsmanlike if it's very early in the game.

I've even came back a few times in the final minute from deficits like these.

People are just too lazy to play from behind or something like that, I don't really get it and they even do it in casual and the other modes for some reason.
