It depends on the words used. The obvious Racial slurs and strong swearing usually results in game bans. Less severe but still infringing language still results in chat mutes.
You can still say what you want to say to toxic/incompetent players as long as you don't use the obvious words that the automatic chat bot recognises.
there is trash-talk, then there is being mean: you know, something that if you did in real life you would get your ass kicked in no-time.
saying something along the lines of "you suck", its reasonable trash-talk, especially if done in a humorous way.
but often i see really mean chats. like people saying they hope you die, or that your mother gets cancer, or other crap. then these subhumans hide behind the "grow a thicker skin" script.
to these bags of poison disguised as human beings i say: grow up and learn how to control yourself.
because right now you are just garbage.
that ruined it. Its not about insults or anything but its fair to mention, it was not like u were sending death threats or f**ed someone's mother though. The internet was that portal, getaway from seriousness, responsibility and all the norms. And we all need it to healthy extent. Everyone has done or said something they could be canceled for doesnt matter what it even is. Yet people want more control over everything like its a good thing. Wait for it, wait for it to hurt those who demanded it xD. In early 2000s you would not get canceled for joking about whatever, now everything said on the internet is taken strictly serious, and potentially used against you at any time. Doesnt matter if you were a drunk teen joking about something or a 12yo trying to be edgy they are coming for you! Imagine losing your job because of a joke you posted on facebook 10 years ago. Madness. Just like tv, full of indocrination, except kinda worse at this point. Controlled, supervised, everything's political now. You cant joke about women/men and other stuff without being considered *insert f**ton of labels* And well people seemd to be more down to earth on the internet. More simple folks, well at least it seems so to me.
