This means that in order to execute a speedflip successfully, you need to diagonnaly flip in whatever direction by pressing WA / WQ (Assuming A is steer left and Q is air roll left) or WD / WE (Assuming D is steer right and E is air roll right), and then IMMEDIATELY cancel it by pressing S, and not SD / SA (This has no different effect from just pressing S).
At first you'll probably have trouble cancelling your flip correctly, and your car will tilt in a weird manner. Just try to get the timing down, and with some practice you'll get the muscle memory down pretty easily. Just remember to cancel it immediately and release the diagonal flip keys after you flipped, continuing to hold them might cause trouble cancelling the flip.
Good luck.
