High skilled players ruining casual play

Anyone noticed the excessive amount of extremely high skilled players ruining casual play, just for the purpose to avoid playing a challenging match? This situation comes from non Skill Based Match Making(SBMM). This behavior will slowly and surely push casual and inexperienced players away from the game, inevitably leaving only high skilled players. Until this is addressed/fixed Rocket League is dead to me. I really enjoy the game but high level players in casuals will be the demise of Rocket League as a fun game for players of all skill levels. RIP RL, it was fun while it lasted.

What the hell has randoms joining parties got to do with anything lol. I’ve solo qued my way to champ every season for as long as I can remember, it’s not smurfs or pre mades stopping you rank up, it’s your ability to adapt to your team and your skill.
I can’t even remember the amount of times me and 2 randoms have absolutely destroyed pre-mades. It doesn’t matter, team or not your at your rank for a reason

Sure there's satisfaction when we beat them and they rage quit, but casual shouldn't have this competitive edge. I find myself becoming more and more toxic toward them.

What I'm trying to say is, can't we give them their own country and build a wall around it to stop them coming into ours?

Also there should be a filter to remove quick chat spam and to filter out "What a save!" so you don't have to deal with it, because I only care about the useful (and positive) quick chat options.

The problem is not with randoms directly, it is with full parties playing against randoms who join alone just to have some fun matches. And I can say for certain that I have seen smurfs in all ranks leading up to the one I am currently in, saying that smurfs are only within certain ranks is completely BS. You are clearly one of those entitled players who would defend smurfing for your own sake and don't care about or want to have any type of consistency.

Sure it's my own fault that my random teammate is idling infront of our goal all while I'm up against a partied team with a smurf or two on it. If you fail to see the problem then good for you but a lot of other players are tired of the same old story.

Also, using the "I'm higher rank than you so I know better" is completely irrelevant. You ever considered that many of the players that actually have these bad experiences are not a Champion or Grand Champion God Tier like yourself?

I didn’t use the “I’m higher rank then you so I know better” at all. I’m merely stating that I, aswell as thousands of other people rank up through the same ranks as you do. The only difference is my ability to adapt to my teammates, good or bad, and my skill level, if I can do it without moaning, why can’t you??

As for your quote on filtering out all the spam and just having the positive chat is ludicrous, for one how is the game meant to know the difference?? And stop trying to make rocket league your safe space! You want no teams to play against, the best players on your team and nice words said in chat to make you feel good?? I would prefer not having smurfs on my team, all I really want is consistency (fair competition), I mostly play casuals by the way. Adapting to my teammates does not help if I am the one moving up field to take a shot and the teammate is idling next to the goal, it also does not help if I am facing a partied team with one or two Champs (casual matches).

I don't play ranked all that much, I probably would if there was more consistency (fair competition). Like if I want to rank up I know I will need a party member because if I am joining by myself there is no way I can be sure how that match will turn up. And no I don't expect to have goals handed to me, what I want is fair competition that's all.

And to make it more clear, I am diamond rank in 1v1 ranked, and platinum in the others at the moment.

You know what would fix that? If epic did something about boosting and boosted players. Thats why you're seeing them, theres been countless posts about it even coming from those same people you're talking about. Sorry but theres no way you're gonna sit there and tell me I cant play casual simply because I'd rather not lose my rank and mind as I try and climb up all because some ppl cant leave little silver timmy where he belongs

because high ranked players dont want to play ranked games with low ranked friends maybe? LOL its casual just enjoy the game or leave and move on to another game. Simple as that.

I play Casual too with my Gold/plat friends and whats bad about that? You also find mixed teams in Casual or just people trying to freestlyle and not even caring about winning the game. its CASUAL dont take it seriously lol

some people like to play for fun at times and not always comp. Why limit good player to just to comp that isn't a good move good way to kill off the game
