Think about it though: why shouldn't higher skilled players also enjoy casual gamemodes?
They have the longest waiting time in comp games and they make mistakes too!
You're playing plat to champ players. Not pros. Gc is still around 3% of the playerbase. Think about that. Think about content creators like Lethymr, do they, top level players, play casual with their friends? or do they play custom/ranked games separate from the majority?
Last time I was suggested the absolute solution about it, which is "there shouldn't be any way to rank down". If champ player stays at champ, and gc stays at gc, there wouldn't be smurfs other than people whoever creates new accounts each time.
Trolling definition: 1. intentionally causing aggravation an/or irritability through nonsensical arguments, comments and/or actions. 2. intentionally and repeatedly using the same action/word/emoji/argument in order to cause aggravation and/or irritability.
The term "troll" is an offensive word. The word "troll" has actually gained traction to troll people that have a different opinion, idea and/or thought process. Before claiming someone, some thing or some message as "troll(ing)", please step away from your own opinion, idea and/or thought process in order to see things from a different point of view.
Casual still uses an MMR to place you.
Play it for the ball, a smurf can steal your ball but at least it is a ball.
1) They have a competitive advantage due to being organized
2) 9 times out of 10, they are rude scum. You know what I mean, "What a save! What a save! What a save!" because they're 1-0 up against 3 soloers. These people don't play casual to play casually, they play casual either to practice for competitive, or because they suck at competitive and want a morale boost.
3) 8 times out of 10, they ignore all casual chat like compliments (Nice Shot), banter (Calculated), etc. Where's the fun in that?
There needs to be a Solo Casual mode. Casual mode is at odds with teams. I should be able to filter out people like this and only play with other chill soloers like me.
My RL experience is made worse by their existence. They force me to be more competitive because I guess I'm not chill enough to hear "What a save!" without wanting to demolish them. Sure there's satisfaction when we beat them and they rage quit, but casual shouldn't have this competitive edge. I find myself becoming more and more toxic toward them.
What I'm trying to say is, can't we give them their own country and build a wall around it to stop them coming into ours?
