Items and credits gone
I lost some of my rocket league items, some painted octanes and ~500 credits. Did something similar happen to any of you guys? Already wrote support, but i'm realy unpatient...
Items are not archived and they are not on ps or pc so i cant be a crosplatform thingy. Kinda worried that someone hacked me, because all the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ stuff is still here

Your account was probably compromised by logging for example with Steam to fake site or entering your account details somewhere.

Apart of submitting ticket, change password/s and enable Steam Guard or 2fa on other platforms.

If you remember this then It should never happen again :
Steam shouldn't ask you to re-enter your info once logged in. If a site asks for you to re-enter your username/password open https://steamcommunity.com/ in a new tab to make sure you're already logged in.

And what to look for, for example :
- The site forces you to login before viewing its content, especially for something simple that can be done over discord/adding a friend on steam, like trading or signing up for a tournament.

Don't click weird links or believe offers that seem too good to be true.

Thx for the tips quicker, but i cant remember entering stuff anywhere. And its onls rl item + credits gone steam balance and items from dota that are much more expensive are still there.

Check Steam login history for suspicious login from other Country/City :
https://help.steampowered.com/en/accountdata/SteamLoginHistory

Then compare it with browser history some time before. Do not post link here.
dont be stupid next time

Cant find anything suspicious. Always the same city and login tines seem accurate. Maybe problem with epic games? Only played on ps since the update so im realy sure i didnt leak anything from steam, only posted here to find out if someobe had similiar problems.
And that stuff that disappeared is so random, cars gone painted wheels and black markets still there.
But thx for the help sir.

Sry man i was born stupid. I always had the urge to write stupid ♥♥♥♥ in discussion feed where people ask for help.

It looks like it was not because of fake Steam login. Then it could be also by fake Epic Games login or something like fake Fan Rewards site when you entered details for PS4 or Epic.
Schnitzel Dec 8, 2020 @ 4:24am
Yep, epic just confirmed that someone traded my stuff.
No way i leaked my data on any platforms tho, never used fan reward stuff and bought credits only directly in rocket league. Im pretty sure i didnt fall for a scam. Strange tbh.

Will give an update if they could help me restore my stuff or if 5 years of collecting are gone.
And thx for the the answers quicker, seems like you where right from the start (sadly).

I suggest try look in browser history or email in range of 24 hours before you lost items. Maybe you'll find some suspicious site.
Send me friend request if you do/find.

I have this exact issue. It was a fake reward website, claiming to be a website by steam. I lost all my items and made a support ticket. I got a general repply "Hello Dreadbos, We are really sorry to hear you had this unpleasant trading experience. Kindly note that once a trade has been completed it is final and non-reversible. We don’t moderate player trades as it's up to both players participating in a trade to ensure it‘s fair before accepting."

The thing is... i didnt really consent to any trade. My account was hijacked... Any way i can recover my items?
quickER 🛠 Dec 8, 2020 @ 12:06pm
That is automatic answer because you chose probably issue "Report a scammer" instead "Items missing from inventory". Try to continue on ticket or create new ticket witch that correct chosen issue.

Try repliying to the mail. The sent me all data from the trades (120 items) and adviced me to activate 2fa (some advanced security stuff) and changing password.
They told me to do that, then reply again and that they maybe can help me, not sure tho. Hoping....

In my case it seems like someone got into my ps acc. They also bought games worth ~250€ for some reason.
Not quite sure how they got in, cant remember using unsafe sites. The only online stuff i did in this time was registering for ps now free trial, where i put my paymentinformations.

Kinda ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Contacted playstation now, can only hope they can help me. Otherwise there will be no one getting presents this year :D
