Do tournament credits expire?

Does anyone know if unused tournament credits expire at the end of Season 1 or if they roll over and can be used in Season 2?

In case you have a mountain of Tournament Credits saved from dominating the Competitive Tournament Brackets, make sure you spend those before Season 1 ends! Tournament Credits will reset at the end of each season, so spend them wisely!

I would like to add what GrunzJR forgot: Any unspent Tournament Credits will be automatically redeemed for Prospect cups, and you will see the items you got after update.
