With the ftp model the only way they make money is through micro transactions aka the item shop and rocket pass both of which are there on the paid version. If your afraid of them collecting and selling data that also is possibly (i dont know never looked into it) there on the paid version.
Your just being paranoid with this nonsense.
What propaganda? Sorry the only context i have with epic is rocket league.
Also by your logic since you play RL are you not supporting epic?
Epic gets 70% of anything you spend on Rocket League even if you buy it on Steam. I already told you that, they OWN the game. I don't know what you're expecting.
And again, why can't you find a Steam key for Rocket League? I checked several key resellers and there's plenty European Rocket League keys. Most of them are rather expensive, though.
Ok i just got a Steam Key for Rocket League ... It was a US one but it still worked. Maybe i explained it wrong but you didnt get me the answer i was looking for.
When im on steam i can order the Rocket League Season key throug Steam and pay with steam money ! Ok maybe epic get 70% (yeah they own the game) put i can live with that as long as i dont have to use the launcher and give Epic my payment informations.
You also get some DLC if you activate Rocket League on Steam and some trading cards.
Yes, then you explained it wrong. In your first post you state: "we just discovered the game after it got free2play on Epic but we wont put money into epic."
And so I told you that you will always put money into Epic because they get 70% for the microtransactions Steam.
I got you the answer that you asked for. You never specified that you only don't like giving them 100% but 70% is somehow acceptable.
I'm pretty sure that ship has sailed. They said it was for people who played the game before the free to play update. But I guess it's possible they lied and it's tied to whether you own the game on Steam.
Slightly off topic. Please tell me if I'm wrong but:
Valve doesn't force anyone to use the Steam Wallet, does it? So why does Epic use it despite the fact that they fight it with their hands and feet at Apple? They could sell in-game with their Fortnite money or whatever they use for it.
