Tournament is full

Can we just take a minute to think about how dumb this is. Why is the "tournament full" 5mins before It's supposed to start? Why is there a limit?

Because they are 32-team Tournaments, not an infinite number.

Does the fact these are full 5min before it starts indicate there might be a lot more that potentially want to play.

Yeah, they do. The Tournament is full because it's full. At 32 teams of 3 players, 96 players can join a single Tournament, so if you're unlucky, you didn't get into one.

Yeah, they do. The Tournament is full because it's full. At 32 teams of 3 players, 96 players can join a single Tournament, so if you're unlucky, you didn't get into one.

Ok, you've still not answered the question, lets try once more!

Why can't multiple Tournaments (32 teams of 3 players, 96 players) run along side each other for everyone that wants to play? Why is there a limit when clearly more people want to play in these.

As I've explained twice, there most likely are multiple Tournaments. You tried joining one and it turns out it's full because it's full. I don't know how many Tournaments are launched at the same time, but if you're unlucky, you're not getting into one. I fail to see what's not to understand. You didn't get in because they were full.

Yeah I understand all of that and why I didn't get in. Now lets see if you can comprehend the original question and maybe provide an answer to what is actually being asked here.

The fact I'm getting the message that all tournaments are full 5min before hey even starts, shows there are probably hundreds of people wanting to play which could potentially fill lots more tournaments, so why is there a limit to how many tournaments they will have on at one of the designated tournament times. If people want to play let them play, why not fill up as many as possible.

Server space isn't infinite? Doesn't need to be, you just need to have enough servers for your playerbase...

By filling servers with tournament players your taking them away from otherwise playing casual or ranked matches, which guess what, also use servers!

I think your issue with the reply is that you answered the title rather than the comment. Maybe the first time you can be excused, maybe even the second, but I explained multiple times what the question was, and it wasn't until your 4th reply that you actually provided somewhat of an answer. But let's not pretend you didn't understand the question from the get-go, as we can see from your replies on any of the threads here you go out your way to try and provide the most obtuse response possible. I'm willing to mark that off as your age, or maybe that you think you can talk to people in the way you do because you're a mod, or most likely both, but it really doesn't come across well for you, the community, or the game.

i just had a tournament where the 3rd player never joined. So we had to play a 2 v 3 all the time. How is that even possible? Why not just add someone tot hat game who didn't get a sport? Annoying and a waste of time.

with a million players there should be a tournament like every hour or so... its very dumb to wait like 3 hours to nothing because its 90% of the time full or servers go down or some random different error occurs and you can't even join with a friend because one of you get thrown out :/
