Why do pros hate on lightning boosts?

I myself am a big fan of lightning boost but absolutely hate the standard that most of high rank people use. I get that it's purely personal preference but I was watching a video featuring pro league players from Sunless I think and they were just trashing on a dude just for using that boost. It's kinda cheap, looks good and makes a nice sound. So what's the issue with it?

personally, i hate anyone who uses the lightning boost. just thinking about it makes me want to bang my head against the wall

I hate people that use it too. Only because they are too dumb to mix the colors right. But that's not a problem of the boost but the combination of the boost with another stuff

I use it as my main boost and own almost every color of it. And I can guarantee I have better looking car than 85% of people I meet in matchmaking

Standard is simpler and cleaner. Thats why proplayers use it.

lightning boost is bad? My entire SHAZAM octane thrives on that boost. They will just have to tolerate my electric flow lol. I would like some alternate colors though at some point :)

As iH so perfectly illustrated, sometimes the people that jump on bandwagons have absolutely zero clue why.
If you like the lightning boosts, keep enjoying them.

I was 1750 in s13 and still use lightning boost on my orange car cus I have orange lightning. SO idgaf what anyone thinks, looks dope.
