Did Aquadome disappear........?

I didn't notice this until just today.

Since around three weeks ago, in standard online casual play, I haven't seen the Aquadome, Starbase, or Farmstead arenas. Not once. In THREE WEEKS. Before which, I would see all three of those several times a day.

Also I've noticed that there's a mysterious absence of "I hate Aquadome" threads in this forum, which is REALLY strange. :) Did Psyonix quietly remove those three arenas from online play?? (the maps are still available for private matches)

If not, then I seem to have accidentally found a way to never play Aquadome, which I'm sure will have a lot of you salivating. I have no idea how it happened. Everything else in the game works (though I do get error 67, "connection timed out", three or four times a day, whereas in the past I would hardly ever see it)

So, are other people still seeing Aquadome, Starbase, and Farmstead in online matches?

No, haven't seen them in a while.

Also if you click on 'Arenas' in the selection screen for Casual/Competitive you can set the Global Like/Dislike for all maps, but if you go to a specific mode like Standard 3v3 Aquadome, Farmstead and Starbase aren't even listed.
Shame, I like all 3 maps and would gladly see them again.

Farmstead is a seasonal map for Autumn. Now that it's winter snowy maps like DFH Snowy are in rotation.

Don't know about Aquadome and Starbase. I don't think these two maps were seasonal maps like Farmstead.

They're basically makeing every map standard, those that weren't recieved too much negative feedback, and therefore were removed or just put out of rotation, also aquadome apparently caused fps drops for the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pc's as it had actual colours and moving objects.... So people that liked starbase, neo tokyo etc, are now stuck with a slight reskin of the same map over an over.

If Farmstead was seasonal, understandable. The others, unexcusable.

Players' with potato computers need to stop being stubborn and lower the graphics or upgrade. Psynoix can optimize them all they want but will not change people being stubborn.

Just had a match in wasteland, probably disliked in general even when opimized and standardized.

I've seen Wasteland pretty often, it's just those three other maps that seem to be gone.

But yeah, seems like there's less rotation, often I get the same common maps

Good question. Farmstead is supposed to be gone so no surprise there but the others...

I honestly can't remember the last time I saw Aqua/Star now that you mention it.

Maybe they were causing performance issues on the Switch so Psyonix tossed them until they could be optimized better? Or just tossed them....
That would line up with you noticing this has been the case for about a month.
