exactly what i thought aswell, because steam would take huge chunks off of the earnings, and it would also enable typical gambling sites like with csgo, and for a game thats not even adult rated, would that be a big no no and fines waiting to happen.

Trading Rocket League items for non in-game items is strictly against the Rocket League Terms of Service, and real money trading is not allowed in Steam discussions in general. This especially forbids trades that involve PayPal, steam wallet codes, product keys, items within other games, and the like.
