Splitscreen when pressing option button

So since today for some reason, each time i press the options button on my dualshock controller, it activates split screen. This is super annoying since when i'm in training and want to start a match, i get the split screen while going to the menu. Is there a way to disable this, unbind or rebind to another button?
Any help is appreciated :)

Try this solution:

Plug in all gamepads you have used on this PC
uninstall each one from device manager. unplug the controller after you uninstall it.
Uninstall the controller you want to use last and unplug it.
reboot.
plug in the controller you want to use (let windows install it or install driver if applicable)
in control panel, go to the "Set up USB game controllers" section
click "Advanced" select your controller, then "OK"
reboot. (for good measure)
Try RL again! hopefully it works now.
In the future any time you plug in another gamepad, make sure your original player 1 pad is plugged in and on.

Or if it doesn't help, try this:

First install x360ce 32 bit you can easily find it using google or any search platform. after installing extract it to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\rocketleague\Binaries\Win32. Open the program and press your controller's keys and check that everything is working, make sure your controller is on Controller 1 top left!. Below the "Controller 1" tab there are sub tabs go to " Controller (Controller name)" and you will see on your right a "Map To" tab switch that to 1. Make sure to save and enjoy! P.S you can add another controller and map it to 2 the exact same way and have a splitscreen sesh

Are you using an external driver? If so, disable it as the game has native support for the DualShock 4 controller.

i used ds4 because i didn't get any input from my controller anymmore, but looking back that might be because big picture mode registered it as a xbox 360 controller and only playstation support was on

Necro... just go into big picture and turn off steam support. You don't need it.
1. Open big picture.
2. Navigate to and click on Rocket League.
3. Mange Game
4. Controller Options
5. Force Off.

I'm using a Thrustmaster Eswap Pro, PS4. Expensive yes. I had to import it to the US yes. Good product. Yes.
