Stall not working

I can't stall at all. I am looking at my controller while doing it and it does not work at all. I know that stalling is much easier with higher deadzone which I tried but it still won't work at all. I have my L1 key for air roll right and I turn my joystick left to do the stall while using the highest deadzone but it won't work. I was able to do the stall all the time some days ago. Does someone know why this is happening?

I noticed that the stall works with air roll left and with the joystick turned right, why does this option work while the other does not?

This guy had the same problem, I need to change a lot of my muscle memory if I need to change my bindings which is why I want to solve this problem.

If this still does not work in either of the ways I mentioned in training, you may need to lower your deadzone some, although it is doable even near max deadzone. 0.60 or 0.70 may make you have a little more control, and if it feels too stiff in training, then try lowering stiffness by a little. If none of this works, contact Psyonix with your problem and have them assist you.

Funny how you did not read all my details. I mentioned that I am experienced in stalling and how I tried using higher deadzone to prove that it did not work even if I make it 100% more easier to do it. What I did not mention was that I bought a new ps4 controller and that's when my stall stopped working in one of the directions. Thank you very much for your dedicated reply and I am happy that someone took my post seriously which I did not expect because my problem sounds so stupid that it seems unbelievable because so few have experienced it.

same dude, this has happened to be around a year ago and I've never figured out how to do it. It messed up everything else really and ive just quit
