Aerial key confusion
How to do aerial??
What key should I use
Air roll
Or air roll left / air roll right

In air roll I press the direction analog with drift key.....But in air roll left/ right it automatically rotate to the direction.......

If I use airroll left/ right is it easy to change direction in air or its easy with air roll

Still confusing and there is no proper tutorial

If you use " hold to air roll with analog stick " tell me how you air roll left and turn your nose left at the same time?

Bind 2 keys separately for air roll left and air roll right if you want my advice. Abandon the Hold to air roll default method, it will limit you down the road.

First of all, forget about Air Roll. Worry about that later. Stick to getting your aerial down. It's Jump, boost, jump, hold boost and get your nose in the air. Check inverting settings if you are having trouble or it seems counter-intuitive. I can't remember what default is but I want down to be up in all flying and shooters. This one counts as flying.

Once you know how to get into the air really good, then you can implement air roll. But don't bite off more than you can chew at once or you will get discouraged. :)

Practice! Turn off ball cam, and just work on getting your car to stay in the air constantly. Feather that boost, correct direction, etc.

And X for air roll makes zero sense to me. I use the bumpers for more control. (Same as post above, I use 2-buttons for Air Roll. LB and RB and analog is strictly for steering/direction.)
Yeah I am poor in judging the ball in air I miss those touch......

And turning off ball cam give me headache.....Like the full screen turns....

Ok 2 question......When to turn off ball cam in game .....And while aerial ball cam should be on or off?

Thank you for the help both of u

If you are using keyboard you press Q and E for air roll left and air roll right. If you push them at any time you will air roll in the given direction. On the keyboard there is also an air roll button like on the gamepad and that is if you hold shift while you press A or D to roll left or right.

If you are using a controller there is no default button set to air roll left and air roll right. I think most people manually assign them to the left and right bumpers on the stick so that then they can air roll either left or right at the same time as they also turn left or right.

Practice = It's an exercises to get used to feathering the car in the air and controlling the car. They just leave ball mid court and practice with ball cam off. If you want to practice flying circles around the ball at mid field, leave ball cam on. Just try to hover your car and not touch the ground for a couple of minutes. This will help you learn to recover and steer in air.

In game - I only take ball cam off to make sure I'm in line for a boost down field, to check teammate status really fast, or for wall shots. Just going up the wall, once I'm off the wall ball cam is back on. My wall game is trash with ball cam on. There is a setting you can turn down for ball cam transition speed, turn that all the way down.

I leave ball cam on for Aerial shots. I will turn ball cam off if I dribble but I honestly don't do that much. I play 3v3 and prefer to set up a pass-shoot situation.
Yeah same here....Cam on on wall .....I completely miss every shot.....Ok ty wil do
Yeah ok....Can u say what key is used for MOVE FORWARD and MOVE BACKWARD???

I use O as move forward and L1 as backward........That's y iam finding solution to assign keys for aerial
I prefer to bind
“Air Roll” to A
“Boost” to A
“Accelerate” to A
”Power slide” to A
“Scoreboard” to A
Mainly so I can air roll, boost, jump, slide, or even view the scoreboard anytime I need.
Really helped me make space so I can bind quickchats to RT that way I can tell my team what I’m doing faster.
Also I’d highly recommend changing deadzones to as low as possible and sensitivities as high as possible to get the most out of your controller/keyboard

LOL, Standard Pro Binds.

But seriously though, adjust all of your camera settings too. Just get on youtube and copy one of the many Legendary RL players. Youtube will yield you more Rocket League knowledge. Every question you're asking has already been answered in detail by many of the experts.
