+2000 hrs and still stuck in Plat/Dia

Hi,
I've been playing RL since launch.
I liked the game so much that I gifted it to my mates in 2017
They started to play when I was at like 800 hours and plat.
Since then we almost play it twice a week in 1 hour sessions after RBS or now Warzone.
I had more time so I now have 2000 hrs.

Problem is, I cannot improve. After 2000+ hours I am wondering how tf he did that upside down goal.
Right now, we are at plat 3 - dia 1. The plat 3 guy is me...

I tried flying maps like trials1, hard to finish it in under 4 minutes and no freestyling involved.
I just cant control my car.
I considered a coach but I don't know if this would help.

not everyone can reach it and that's okay
ranks are there to gauge our skill level and give balanced matches, not as levels we need to pass

Some people are just slow learners. I've got 6.5k hours, and I'm only diamond.
Just enjoy playing and don't worry too much about your rank.
If you're having fun, that's all that matters.

i was a champ 2 last season , but now i am stuck in dia 1 or 2 and just cannot go up, i have 2-3 wins with good teammates and then it gives me teammates who play like bronzes . same ♥♥♥♥ every time.

I dont want to be a GC- I just want to make some moves a +2000 player should be able to have

I dont care about my rank but i want to be able to do something (spoiler: i am not) some wall to air dribbles, some flying backwards, etc.

I just saw recently video about Powersliding which i believe is more useful mechanic then ceiling shots and maybe even wave dashes. Just search on Youtube "rocket league powerslides"
