Is rocket league better with a controller, or is it better with keyboard and mouse?

Im planning too buy this game, but unsure which device is better too play the game with , feedback is appreciated :)

It's proberly more easy to learn in start with a controller but its better to play with keyboard & mouse since you much more easy can control the camera around at the same time = giving you a almost 100% viewfield all the time! (game sense is everything ;)

you can also do this with a controller but it pretty much require that you sit very unhandy with the gamepad or have a extra 3rd hand you can pull up from the rear :P

Thank you for the feedback! i think ill try with the keyboard and mouse first because i've heard from some people i know that keyboard and mouse is not recommended and the controller is better which can be true and false :P

Whichever you are most comfortable with.
But if you know how to use a controller effectively, save your brain the trouble and start with it.
Pros using controller is in the 99% range for a reason.

I would prefer too try keyboard and mouse because i could be better on that than with a controller you never know ;) :P

To OP, it's a matter of preference. There's plenty of pros who use key and mouse.

controller as the triggers and the thumbsticks do provide variable turn speeds.

but there are good kbm players out there so its all up to you trying it out

Controllers have analog steering and gas, keyboards are digital.

ill put it this way theres only 1 pro who uses kbm. controller is much easier especially coming from a console, i use both but came from xbox and im better with controller
