Any way to start 1vs1 with a friend and also get XP?

Me and a friend wanna do 1vs1 but also wanna earn some XP at the same time is it possible and how? Private matches don't give XP. Would it work to find a random 1vs1 and hope the other guy leaves after the match and then friend joins through 'join game' from steam?

This isn't possible to stop XP farming, which I suspect is why you want to do it. 😁

Me and my son want to play legit while also getting better, so I don't understand why we can't play online and get exp. There are ways to get statistics from games to tell if EXP farming is happening. Saying it can only be randoms is ridiculous. What if I had 6 friends? Screw all of us?
