Rocket League minimizes itself.
Every now and then it happens. Out of nowhere. Started after the Progression Update. Anyone who can help?

I had the same experience and for me it wasn't about RL, but about the Antivirus I was then running, AVG. Seems like AVG and AVAST both cause the minimizing of RL for me, but swapping from them to another AV sorted the issue.

edit: wasn't an issue until after progression update as you mention, though

It's always good to have an anti-virus though ofc, so I'm trying a new provider now (Bitdefender). The standard Windows Defender doesn't seem to cause the minimizing though.

I just do not want to get a different AV then the one I have now, which is Avast.

I had some issues with the dialogue windows in Avast, but what might work is adding an exception for your RL executable (if possible, I think this was my main issue with Avast, that it was difficult to navigate to add exceptions etc). Either that or add a do-not-disturb for Rocket League in your AV.

I still have this problem. I tried it after uninstalling Avast and it still happened. 90% of the time after 3 minutes from launching the game it happens, then idk the pattern (if there is one).

Nope, unfortunately not. I want to set my AV of Rocket League to: do not disturb, but I can't find that setting.

Same problem here. This happens when using the new Steam chat system. Now the window icon keeps blinking on the background, and suddenly RL minimizes.

They changed the Steam chat interface to look and act more like discord.

I have the same problem and it gets worse now it minimizes multiple times per game for me, that's unplayable.

I had the same issue after installing AVG. Changing the game from full screen to borderless fixed the issue for me.
