I can't relate cause im diamond 1 but there isn't really a way to detect boosted players, what if that player in your team is just playing really horrible that day, or what if his friend is playing instead of him, if you banned any player that played bad for their rank, an unbelievble amount of players will get false bans, which would do no good to the community

theres a easier way, remove the invites to party on higher ranks, then will show who is being carryed all their career and who really knows how to play as a team with randoms

What if intention was to play bad to derank?
Csgo -people do this- why won't they for other games>
it's not as easy because this game has a price tag. Praise that.

what's the point in boosting if you lose this rank anyway?

Boosting doesn't work. If a C1 parties with two GCs, they will most likely be put against a team of 3 GCs and they will probably lose. If they win, then the C1 gains 8-10 MMR, which he could have gotten more easily just by winning against players of his own rank.

They do it for the rewards and title, they are not going to get the season # grand champion playing against c1's even if its the same mmr awarded.

They aren't going to get it playing with GCs either. If anything, they are going to rank down because they are playing against superior opponents.

Do you know what boosting is? you must be confused given that last reply.

Also 2x 1700+mmr GC's will 9 times out of 10 destroy 3x 1500mmr GC's players even if they are carrying a scrub. Thats why they are re-doing the ranking system with the next update, GC has a buffer of 700mmr within it with low and high being night and day.

Yeah, it's raising a player's rank by either partying with them or by playing on their account. The first method won't work in Rocket League without the use of smurf accounts.
