The game can certainly go higher. You might need to manually enter your X/Y resolution values in the .ini file for some reason.

With Xbox One X you can play it in 4k, so it should work on PC too

eh i don't use Geforce Experience. wish i could just change it in the options menu like every other game. gues i'll have to mess with the .ini file. i should be able to handle it for this game. i got a I7 GTX 1080 16 GB ram

I don't know why, but on some PCs, the in-game resolution option stops at 1080p. I didn't have to mually enter it, but I did on my wife's PC, and both run the game at 3440x1440.

are you using a 1080 monitor? maybe the game doesn't support dsr.
edit: is 3440x1440 your res, does the game support 21/9? strange it would only give you 1080p with that. at least i would have thought 1440p if it can't do 21/9. sorry, i'm not much help.

I have a 1440p monitor and the resolution is there as an option.

If you are trying to supersample the game you will need to edit the .ini file. The game doesn't support supersampling natively.

im playing on a 4k tv my native res is 3840 x 2160. but i don't think that is the problem becuase the other guy had the same problem with his wifes PC, but not for him. idk it's weird i never had this problem before even with old games like CIV 5 and left4dead

The game does seem to detect higher resolutions from what i can tell and add them to the drop down.

When I enable Surround on my monitors the 5760 x 1080 option appears straight away.
