Resolution Scale?
I'm asking this as a complete noob to game development and UE3.

I know that a lot of UE4 games have a resolution scale built-in to help with performance issues.
I just wanted to ask if it's possible to have one for this game?

Copy and paste TASystemsettings.ini into ur start menu and open up the file.

Find screen percentage and lower it, i believe its effectively lowering ur resolution scale. (then close out and save)

GL.

Yeah that's the thing. There isn't a screen percentage in my .ini file. So it makes me think that maybe it's patched out of RL as of right now... I could try to type it into the file and hope it registers but I'm not sure what will happen.

its in mine, near the top of the massive list. Perhaps CTRL-F and paste screenpercentage, then cycle down until u see it. mine is currently set at 55 because i play on a laptop.

I believe Render Quality covers that.

Ok... Can you tell me what I'm looking for in the ini settings and what values can be used?

Yeah that was great lol! I guess I'll have to experiment with that value to see what's do-able. Odd I can't find any specific threads about this type of setting for the game.

ah found it. I did use the CTRL + F function but I guess I missed it the first time around. Alright I'll set it to 55 as well and see what happens since I'm on a laptop as well :D

glad i could help. Another thing i do, is in the in game options, i set it to 1080x720 16x9, and i have the fps counter set to 30 fps. All performance options instead of quality, and deselect shaders and such.

it still plays fine, and even tho im playing console level quality on a pc, its ok, i want to extend the life of my gaming laptop, so reduced quality is worth it imo. :3 have fun!
