2v2 heatseeker deserves a ranked playlist

No more consistent demos(still possible but way more risky), high skill cap similar to dropshot and hoops. Give it a title like redirect champion or something, would be dope!

Do that then you will have people complaining that its no fun cause its ranked, its a vicious circle and there is not a big enough concurrent player base to have both which is why the extra modes are ranked only.

Then make it ranked only. Ranks make it more balanced than by using casual mmr. Extra modes are only tryhard at c2+

I dont care if it is ranked or not, i was just pointing out the flaw. Also it is not a season long mode so it wouldn't work as ranked.

I started playing not at the beginning but when the extra modes were casual so i can not speak to if they were ranked prior to then or not. However since they went from casual to ranked they have followed along with the season for ranked soccar.

It makes sense. Turning Heatseeker to ranked is pointless and will cause more problems than good. Heatseeker is better off being reserved once a full blue moon.

It's a bad idea, I would not mind either way, but they made the current extra modes ranked and it killed them, people don't want to end up playing sweaty because now they have another rank to maintain against equal or better players, hearseeker is a bit of fun, they way snowday, rumble, dropshot and hoops used to be.

Don't know 2v2 feels a lot more balanced with less team bumping or double/triple commits, depends on the level you are playing at with your unranked mmr.
