Was, i had also 6 broken xbox controllers so i chosed to repair one of them and i solved my problem this way :)
Go to https://support.rocketleague.com/hc
You must be signed in to view your tickets
Click on your platform to sign in
Click on your Username in the upper right-hand corner
Select My activities
Click on the My requests tab to view your current tickets
If status is "open" you need just wait for response and if it's "awaiting your reply" you need to reply.
Or there is option to "create a follow-up ticket" if ticket was closed for example if you did not reply in time.
Make sure you are not pressing Voice Chat button especially if it is bound on for example Boost. Check in game :
Settings - Controls - Change Bindings
i have updated GPU drivers, un and reinstalled RL, i tried it on Steam and have both, a PS 5 via Bluetooth and an XBOX 360 with cable. NOTHING seems to help
if anyone finds a solution or Psyonix gives a way to fix it, please let us know

The dots actually shows the neutral position of your thumbstics/analogs, so if they are far from the center, it means nothing else but the fact that they are worn / broken.
