Rocket League

Rocket League

Statistiche:
RANDOMLY 300+ ping searching in US east.
Why? Maybe pick a server with less than 300 ping? Less than 200 ping? How about less than 100 ping? That'll be cool... NAH BRO! HERE'S 300+ PING ENJOY THE AUTO RANK DOWN HAHA Not like I basically have to 1v2 every game anyway, how can I do that when it is literally as unplayable as possible?

Great job Psyonix/Epic. What a joke. But what else is new...

BTW. Every time this has happened at least 1 other unfortunate soul in the game has tarded ping too. And I have tested my connection.

So before the autism starts. THIS IS NOT ME.

Thanks but no. I'm not doing their work for them. I'm just going to uninstall and play better games lmao... as if I would read all of that just to play this.

I mean, you already payed for the game. You don't have to use their free customer support if you don't want to.

Some players have consistently high ping (not lag spikes) on a particular set of US East servers. From my research, it's not the fault of the servers nor is it something on the player's end. It's somewhere in between, on the backbone of the Internet. A traceroute confirms this, showing a bad node where significant latency appears.

Whether you are routed along the bad route or not depends on your location and ISP. Nothing Psyonix can really fix. Using a proxy or VPN may allow you to go around the route.

Very nice post. (With your permission I'd like to add this post to my guide)
I believe you have true. Not sure if it helps OP to understand it.

Can you explain Proxy setting? I know only about Port-forwarding :

Unfortunately, it's not as simple as port forwarding. While it's easy to use a VPN, it's typically a paid service that may add a small increase to normal latency and if you are unlucky that particular VPN could still use the bad route. I don't believe it's worth paying for a VPN just to avoid the occasional game with high ping but many people already use a VPN for privacy.
