Do you put your render quality on high quality or just quality?
Curious, because I changed my settings to basically what all pros do- that is turning everything off except transparent goals and the render quality can stay high. Everything else like textures, world detail and particles are set to performance.

For render quality- is it fine to just play on quality? I know it may be a bit more clear on high quality, as it's rendering full 1080p, but I feel like I'd still get more frames with just "Quality".

As for my PC, it runs this game fine 60+ fps (I cap it at 62 because I have a 60 hz monitor) at all times, even with high settings and all particle/shadow effects. I have a 750 Ti and i5 3470, 8GB DDR3 - so not good specs, but it has always ran this game amazing, even at 1080.

I play at 4K on Max Quality.

Would recommend capping 2-3 FPS lower than your refresh rate. Unless you turn Vertical Sync off and don't mind screen tearing. You actually introduce more display lag if you have V-Sync on and hit your refresh rate cap.

I use RTSS for all my FPS capping. As it only causes 1 frame of display lag and can be adjusted while the game is running. NVIDIA has a frame rate limit in the Control Panel now as well. But it doesn't take effect unless you restart the game.

I have my render quality on high, everything else is pretty much high performance or just on performance because I prefer a higher frame rate over graphics.

you should cap your fps 3 frames lower then your refreshrate in order to stop tearing.

if you get 60 fps with max settings then max it. Use what you like.
Everything off, the rest medium. Constant 250 fps for me.

250 is way to much, higher then your refresh rate is wasted videocard power, heat, durability and coilwhine.

I mean, it isn't a waste if he has a 240 Hz display.

If he's on a 60/120/144 Hz. Then yeah. Waste.
