Boosted meaning

Playing 2v2 ranked and we won by around 5-1. After the game the opposition says that we are so boosted. I assumed boosting meant you entered ranked with a higher rank friend so you could win easier (although this was fixed when they updated MM).

They were friends but me and my team mate were not. One of them was prospect while the other was challenger. Me and my team mate were the same rank.

could have meant you were smurfing or something. i wouldnt put much thought into what someone says after you beat them.

Yeh, I don't worry about that, was just curious to the actual meaning as I had assumed what it was before and thought I was wrong all along. I would have assumed his mate (prospect) was being "boosted".

Usually means that you got help from someone, or that somebody played for you to get to the rank you're currently in. Usually just supposed to mean that you're bad.
