Changing the car of player 2 for splitcreen.

Definetly feeling like an idiot for not being able to figure this out, but i cant find out how to change the car in the garage for player 2. I am using an xbox controller and a ps3 controller. When i go to the garage with whichever controller is player 1, I can only change player 1's car. Player 2 has no control in the main menu so i cant go to the garage with it. PLEASE HELP

Maybe XBox and PS4 controllers aren't compatable

What I mean is, maybe you can't have a XBox controller and a PS controller in the same party...?
I don't know.
With the second controller, try pressing a button then click start.

i can joim the party and play with both controllers. Its just that i cant edit the second players car.

Hello dude.
All is first controled by P1.
First step, P2 join.
Step 2 : P1 open garage. There you can see the two cars modification options.
Step 3 ez :D

You need to use player 2's controller...

I took a screenshot of the garage when i go to it with player 2 joined to the party. If im not mistaken, one of the options menu is supposed to come up on the right side of the screen also right?

Ok, so I was having this problem too, did this. While yes I can customize the cars, is there any way to use my pre-made cars for player 2?
