Is it possible to be good on keyboard and mouse?

Keybord player just won european side of rlcs this season and last season another keyboard player won european rlcs league play.
So judging from those i'd say that yes u can get good with keyboard.

Yes but it will be much difficult to master. Playing the game on controller is much easier, but it depends on whether you are used to play on controller or not.

I play on kbm, and i am decent plat-dia. I would be lost with a controller, i havent used one since i dumped my ps 1 ages ago. I have over time adapted to using a kbm for all gaming. Some times it is easier to pick up a game with kbm sometimes like with rocket league it is more difficult but never impossible.

Yup. Some RLCS players play on keyboard. It's all down to preference and how comfortable you are playing with that.

It depends on what you are used to. Controller has some pretty major advantages over keyboard (The ability to look around with your joystick and a full 360 degree dodge angles, whereas keyboard only has certain locked dodge angles, making it harder) but I play in champion 3 with kbm and I don't wish to change over to controller. If you have played some other games on a controller and are used to controllers, then I recommend using them.

I went from diamond to champ by changing to controller from K+M plus learning curve.

I'm on keyboard and mouse and am a decent "freestyler." it is much easier to hit stalls and flip cancels, i picked up half flipping in my first 30 hours of the game, in my opinion it is easier to master high level mechanics at an earlier state of playing the game on keyboard like many of u said, it is all based on preference, if ur coming from shooter games and minecraft like i did, then i recommend keyboard. *you want a good one* and btw you wanna bind jump to space and ball cam to right click, also if you have mouse buttons bind air roll left or right to the side buttons, and it makes it extremely easy to hit stalls and flip resets. if anyone reads this and wants help learning keyboard and mouse, hit me up :)

I know that it's 100% about preference, but the fact that some people put jump to space is still weird for me to even think about lol. But if it works for you then who am I to judge.

I use a controller, but I've tried KB+M and it's definitely weird to even do basic things if you aren't used to it, but you have a ton of "weird" extra control in different areas once you get used to it that are hard to explain. Others have mentioned, but you really need to check out Yukeo (super good pro), and Evample (best freestyle dribbler in the whole game) on YouTube. Both are KB+M users, and the best ones I can think of off the top of my head.
